The MindMap Standard
Personal data
Processing of personal data collected by MindMap follows Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals and the requirements of the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP).
Lifecycle of a respondent’s data
- 1
Collection
Consent is collected before the interview begins, stating the study's purpose, the voluntary nature of participation, and the right to withdraw.
- 2
Separation
Identifying data (name, phone, address) is separated from response data as soon as fieldwork closes. Analysis only ever runs on the anonymised file.
- 3
Access
Access to respondent-level data is restricted to the project team. Bulk export requires named, logged authorisation.
- 4
Retention
Identifying data is kept only as long as needed for fieldwork quality control (back-checking), then destroyed. The anonymised response file is kept for the duration of the client contract.
- 5
Respondent rights
Any respondent may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data from MindMap, in accordance with Law 09-08.
To exercise a right of access, correction or deletion over your data, contact MindMap via the contact page.
